ASU’s Trusted Learner Network featured on SmartResume’s SmartReport Ecosystem Map
The Trusted Learner Network (TLN) was recently featured on SmartResume’s 2023 U.S. Digital Credential/LER Ecosystem SmartReport. The SmartReport includes two infographics that demonstrate the way in which data flows through the ecosystem, showing how digital credentials and LERs are issued, shared, consumed and the companies and institutions that make that process happen. “What an honor to be in good company with other innovators in the digital credential and LER space,” said Kate Giovacchini, Managing Director of the Trusted Learner Network. “This valuable mention in the SmartReport validates our effort to close the distance between learners and their trusted achievement credentials and fuels us to accelerate our hard work in support of enabling and supporting the success of ASU students and beyond.”
The TLN offers learners, institutions, credential issuers, and credential consumers a space to explore complex challenges and develop new ways to record, curate, and share achievements and skills across the learner’s lifespan through its convenings and TLN Community. Simultaneously, TLN is developing a trusted credential repository toolset to create an accessible onboarding into the digital credential ecosystem for learners, issuers and consumers. They’ve already designed the TLN alpha tech stack and crafted a TLN Governing Charter. (View additional TLN accomplishments from 2022.)
ASU Pocket was also featured in the ecosystem map. ASU Pocket is a digital wallet and portfolio that captures and stores the holistic evidence of learning and gives lifelong learners the autonomy to securely share digital credentials with employers and institutions.
